SOUTO Soufiane – Founder & Creative Director of Ilem Craft Design
Passionate artisan and designer, Soufiane Souto embodies the perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern design innovation. With a double expertise in maroquinerie (Bac+5 from the Académie des Arts Traditionnels) and multimedia development, he has mastered both the ancestral techniques of leatherworking and the most advanced design tools, from hand sketching to 3D modeling.
Over the years, Soufiane has collaborated on projects ranging from luxury leather goods to custom gainerie pieces, bringing meticulous attention to detail, refined aesthetics, and a deep respect for materials. His creative vision is rooted in heritage and culture, yet constantly reimagined for contemporary lifestyles.
Through Ilem Craft Design, he channels this fusion of art, technique, and innovation into timeless, high-quality leather creations — each piece telling a story of craftsmanship, elegance, and authenticity.
